I'm very excited after finishing my latest painting!

It's of a standing cowboy I originally sketched out Dec. 2005. I'm satisfied with the painting, and am pretty happy to have finished it in under 4 hours. (two sittings)

Things have been busy, so I have not spent as much time painting as I'd like. But I had a great meeting last Saturday with a few artist friends. We got a chance to get caught up, and seee what everyone's been up to. We looked at some new artwork we all brought, and exchanges some comments, tips, and tricks.

It was very envigorating to say the least.

So much so, we came up with a collaborative project, I hope yo share with everyone here soon.

For now, back to painting.

I finally signed up for a full CGSociety account last week, and am eager to engage in the dialogue and learning that this community has to offer.
